Grave...

One of the activities that is important to be done by my 'clan' is visiting our departed families graves before the Eid which have been done annually. This is must as we shall did not forget those who have left the world.

First stop: Jelutong Cemetary, located beside the highway linking the Tutong District to Jerudong.

The entry point after climbing its stair (which is loooooong way...)

Unresponsible persons have left their bottles. You think that table is a big flat rubbish bin?

Cleaning the graves...

Hero too giving a hand, good! Hes a dependable boy although still a kid. Hyper and suprisingly, love harsh music like Death Metal!

Oranges Juice? No! 'Air Asah-an'...

Reciting 'Tahlil'...

At the 2nd cemetary near the Bridex building in POLO... Look at the steps! At the bottom (Left), At the top (Right).

My ancestor's relatives graves...

Reciting Tahlil infront of our Great-Grandparent...

Pile-up after the cleaning.

The third cemetary is a bit adventure coz its in the forest with addition: on the hill and have to cross a cattles farm area first...

Road leading to the 3rd cemetary. Entering from the junction near Asma Hotel...

Taking Ford Ranger due to muddy road at the stop...

On the way: cows roaming easily...

What? Too muddy? Oh, well. Marching on foot!

Long way walking... And be careful with the scattered cow dungs!

The hill that we have to climb to get to the cemetary. According to the legend, long ago (maybe around 100 years), 2 warriors have fought on top of this hill.

Climbing the hill. A bit painful because the steep were full of the thorn...

On the top of the hill: Thats not my fault, someone have make that such ways...

A short trail on top of the hill to the cemetary. Through the trail, we can found several old graves which age can reach nearly a century.

At last!

Some 'mild' cleaning around the cemetary.

Reciting the Tahlil for the 3rd round...

After visiting the cemetary. On the way descending the hill...

Walking down...

Long way to the place where we left the car...

The last cemetary for the day, located at the Luahan, not near the Masyor, but deep through SPG 544.

Reciting the Tahlil, cannot concentrate, smells a fried jackfruit!

Traditions of visiting the cemetary shall not be solely done in the Ramadhan only, but also have to be done during others month. There is no excuse that we are very busy. We have a consecutive 2 off days and the visiting the graves is only taking less than an hour (complete with cleaning, reciting the Yaasin verse and Tahlil). What more important is, honesty and kindness on visiting the one that we love... Bye!

p.s.: a long post for me, preparing another post which also quite longer then this!
