Too Early Birds Did Not Catch The Early Worm.

Brunei recently and currently hit by long and heavy rain. These effected several outdoor activities such as strolling around the city especially during His Majesty birthday celebration. Therefore, on last Saturday, I went to 'Gerai Perayaan' in Bandar Seri Begawan. So, what is 'Gerai Perayaan' foreigner?

It is an annual event held once a year for a month in July. Its was held because its one of the event during the His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, 29th Sultan of Brunei's Birthday which fall on every 15th July. In this event, lots of things were being sell such as food.

Other things also being sell here included bags, cloths and toys.

However, most people who come here hunt the market for their foods which some of it only available during the His Majesty birthday. Actually, the purpose of the market at the early time was to provide the people who attend other event in the town with foods and drinks.

People also come here to buy dinners so that it can be eat when they come home after enjoying other events in the town. Usually other event which includes sports and showcase start at 8 pm.

One of the example of the other event is live performance such as singing performance by local artists or religious show.

So, during the event, the people may buy these local snacks to enjoy the show. There are lots of local snacks that can be buy here, vary from one booth to another.

This is one of the favourite snack of Bruneian: 'Sotong Tutuk'. A piece of cuttlefish are fry until it dry before being flattened with a hammer. Then it is put into a plastic bag before a sweet and spicy sauce are also being pour into the plastic bag.

Fresh local fruits are also being sell here and the fruits are like hot cakes, just like the food.

More food can be spotted here such as but the market only become live only during the night. So, you will see:

Nearly empty street.

Empty tray.

So, it is advisable for all especially the tourist to come during the night. And also come during only July. However, during other months, the Bandar Seri Begawan also held similar event but in small size which opens only in Saturday night until the next morning. Can't Eat? Go To Hospital!

If human have their own health center to heal them from diseases and illness, animal too have their own health center. In Brunei, there are several private Animal Clinic. And the cost nearly the same like the human medication.

This cat is one of the first cat that my family adopted. From his age, he's nearly 6 years old and according to the scientific research, he's already in his old age which make him vulnerable for several infections and diseases.

Today, I will like to brought him to the 'Government' Animal Clinic which is situated in Rimba near to Lambak Kiri Housing Area. This government-run animal health center nearly the same like the Government hospital and clinics.

And the animal too have their health and appointment card, just like human do. However, this card is shared among the animal of one owner. So, for example: if the owner have 30 cats (impossible? but its possible here in Brunei), so the cats have to share 1 card.

In order to transport the sick animal to the health center, several method can be used. For some owner, they will use plastic animal cage. But for me, I always use the plastic basket, cheap and easy to be handle. Some owner used huge steel cage because of the size of their animal. (God, I have seen a cat as huge as a normal human toddler.)

So, if you are using the plastic basket, make sure to put several pieces of old newspaper pages into it and also brings some bundles of newspaper with you because cat sometimes will have a nature call out of nowhere. Do not put food into the basket because everything like hell break lose inside later after sometimes.

So, this is the place. Located at Rimba, near to Lambak Kiri Housing Area, this government facilities have several services for the people. If you are importing cats or any pets from foreign countries, they will be quarantine here. Same like plants too.

This is the building where all the animal are treated.

You can find the Animal Clinic by its sign outside of the building.

But today is my unluckiest day. The clinic closed. I will revisit the clinic this Monday.

This clinic offer the cheapest price in town on healing the animal as well as offer some surgery for only a dollar for one animal. I have try the private clinic and it cost me BND 40 for antibiotics and injections which only cost a dollar here. Also, the medicine provided here is free.

Well, the school at last inform the result of the exam and the answer is, I'm gonna leave behind for a year which mean I have plenty of holidays to be fill with. And the first day of my holiday have been spend on just in my room. And today, I come back to school, my old school. A time where I am the kid who kicking around the ball and not only scores for the team, but also assist on breaking the school lamp. But today, I'm not going to kick something because I'm not a kid anymore but a blogger.

I come back to my old school, Jerudong Primary School because they are engaging event which is Children's Day. The event run from 2nd July 2010 to 4th July 2010.

During the events, lots of activities will be brought in for the enjoyment of the parents and their children. One of it is mini-games like one held in this hall.

But, before you can play any of the mini-game, you must buy the coupon first. 1 coupon price at BND 1.00 and one mini-game price 1 coupon.

However, all are worthwhile if you have skill to play all these games and win more than a piece of coupon. All of these mini-games are run by the teacher who teach here in Jerudong Primary School.

Netball.

Mini-throw.

Coconut bowling.

Eye-toy! The Playstation 2 game. Sure if they put guitar hero game, I will sweep the tickets clean!

Lift and Move (And where's the guardian?)

Guessing the number of mobile recharge card and building a pyramid with plastics glass in 15 second. Deserted.

Archery.

The school also held a small art expo at the corner of the hall to showcase the public the talent of the school's pupil on art. The theme of the expo is all about the important of environment and health.

The event actually are divided into 2 areas. One is at the hall which is at the bottom of the school hill. And the second area is on the top of the hill where all the administration building and nearly all the class are located. And at this area, the activities is more happening.

Why more happening? Look at the line and the crowd. The game is more attractive than in the hall.

Bouncer! That should attract the kids! Playing the bouncer cost BND 0.50 and are monitored by the teacher there. Thats why I can't join the kid.

Girls too didn't want to lose their chances playing these big toys!

Other than the mini-games, the school also setting up several booths around the school compound, not only to quench the thirst this rampaging kids but also to support the economy of the village.

The school also held a 'Run for Fun' event. But out of luck, the event start after I left the school. Well, will try to cover it this weekend with my mate from my ex-dorm. Broke The Promises

At last, I didn't update my blog with anything. The holiday have make me lazy. Haish, my friends have updated their but me not! However, my mini blog still updated as usual and for your information peeps, tomorrow is the last day of school holiday for everyone and I already have my schedule for the 3rd semester. I have been given several responsibilities that will I'm afraid at last, prevent me from updating my blog! However, I will find free times to report what is happening around me! Marshmallow!

Do you know what is marshmallow? Google it up because I kinda getting a blur image on explaining it here but its kinda famous when you sit around the fireplace, put it on a wooden stick and burn it until its get brown. Well, eating it rawly taste sucks! Eating it after cook is awesome!

And in order to get a fire, we need something to be burn! And thanks to God who grant us a fallen tree which is dry and perfect for the fireplace setting.

"Come on! Get the stick fast! Marshmallow convicted are ready to be burn!"

The sticks! Enough!

We also thank to God again for giving us another good flammable material, dry leaves.

Now we have the fire and feast will follow.

Heat it until everything turns into brown. The outer skin of the marshmallow is soft and suprisingly, the content inside melt and sticky but delicious!

We have the flame now, but we don't have the surrounding area.

As always shown in the television and movies about the scene of peoples sitting around the fire, one or two may play the guitar while the others are singing. And the stick of marshmallow on top of it are put near to the fire. What an American atmosphere. By then, see you for the next update! Bye.

The story start with paddy.

Last year is unique. Our coursemate get well each other in a middle of drying the paddy, as well as during the harvesting. At that time, everyone feel awkward and shy to talk to each other. But making friend is not a sin right? Except destroying a friend. And now, we are again drying the paddy.

But at this time, we have well known each other.

And we can work with each other more easily.

Also we can work like a team!

That is our slogan, so that we can complete our dream together.

Visit By St. James And St. Johns of KayBee

On the last day of March, two private schools paid a visit to our school to gain a new experience. What experience is it?

Harvesting the paddy grown by the senior. It was a perfect timing as at that time, the seniors were still at the Philipines and the juniors were facing an hectare of paddy.

Some of the coursemates and lecturers and also the students of the St. Johns hearing the speech. Most of the St. Johns student were still in primary school.

And most of the St. James student were in Year 12 classes.

And these visitors are divided into several groups which will be man by my course. Unlucky to those who get the big boys and big girls.

Lucky me, I've got group of kids. However, one down due to dehydration.

Its time to harvest the paddy. Instead of using the sickles which is the most easiest one, the visitor use normal scissors to harvest the paddy. It is safe on their level although its slow.

The visit from these 2 schools were giving the opportunities for the school to shows to them what are we doing here in order to support the nation's objectives; to achieve self-sufficiency on paddy processing by doing multiple research to gain high quality yield. The Rain Fall

It was just a normal sunny days in the morning when suddenly, the thick black cloud comes in the afternoon. I instantly check my facebook after I received double misscall, fearing something is going on~ and its true. I've lost a good friend.

Allahyarham Izzaturrahman bin Awang Dayang, not only a good friend, we share lots of interest as well as our room in the dorm is just side-by-side.

Allahyarham, although we don't have too much conversation but he treat me well and never turn me down. Although he joke about me once, I never take that matter serious but as a way of cheering the boredom life here.

Talking about sharing same interest, both of us are a screamer. What I mean we love screaming type songs which is metal although Allahyarham is more on death while I more on post-hardcore.

During the 'Water Crisis in SVW', Allahyarham not only helping us on dissolving the problem, but also store the moment (photography).

Allahyarham was also a good footballer and we have a good time playing the ball with him because he have such a unique skills.

Well, I made a decision. I will shut down this blog. Okay, I'm just kidding. I've just switch this blog function to just will be use on reporting event, opinions or anything that is formal due to the update is too long. However, don't feel sad, I have setup a mini instant blog (by clicking HERE). And a months ago, I keep addicted to Twitter and have use one the application that help me to update my tweets.

Senior Farewell Ceremonies 2010

This Sunday, all the senior of the Agriculture Department Studies will be departing from Brunei to their new training ground, Luzon Phil Rice in Philippines.

Yesterday, to bless their departure, a Farewell Ceremonies was held in the Workshop Training area.

The ceremonies were attended by all the lecturer from the Agriculture Studies Department, several from the Administration, the Principle and the Technical Assistants.

All food and drinks which is being prepared for this ceremonies was taken from the revenue gain during the Open Day and as well as some addition from the Agriculture Studies Department.

The one who responsible on preparing food for this event, a group of strong woman on giving rations to the Dorm communities.

The Dorm Communities also celebrate birthday for all the March-ians. Countlessly, number of them is huge~

To the Senior, goodluck for all your training in the Philippine, may all of you brings flying color home.

Again, Mangroove Rainforest

Today is Sunday.

Last time I went here, to the Mangrove Rainforest Resort to enjoy the food, its close.

And today I see the huge sign again.

And I cross the bridge to the delicacies again.

And I watch the beautiful mangrove plantation again.

And thank to GOD, its OPEN!

Z'Yan Restaurant serve those who rent a room here as well as food enthusiasters.

They provide two area to enjoy the food. Indoor and outdoor.

But these things which is a natural beautiful sight of Kampong Ayer with soft wind blowing to us is not provided in the indoor area.

A more outdoor table that straight out from the main outdoor area. It is limited so books earlier.

So, what the menu is? For the restaurant which is build on a water, seafood is expected.

However, they too serve chicken and meat.

Like these, Nasi Lemak Chicken~

I really-really-really want to try the pasta.

Due to the pasta is too famous, I've just order this, Kolomee with Tiger Prawn. The Tiger Prawn is too delicious and juicy when I take my first bite on it.

Near to the restaurant is a house that you can rent, $128 per night. What so special about this house is that, it has a veranda that can be use for fishing leisure. Maybe you can catch a dead emo guy?

The atmosphere is so relaxing while you are enjoying the food, you too can enjoy the jazz music and the sound of the wave hitting the stilts.

The restaurant is good for family gathering due to the size of the restaurant which can serve large number of people and they too have large list of menu. If after eating you feel sleepy, then just rent the house! Hahaha, ok then, have nice Monday guys!

Some glitch?

Picture above was made with a several photos shot and then combine together with Adobe Photoshop. I'm using the 'crop, cut, paste and eraser' technique which is sometimes quite pain in the ass.

Using another model. Theres a small error if you just check at the towel hanging on the mobile tray holder.

In order to produce a perfect product, lighting too should be control. Theres an error on lighting, check the left person.

The easiest one is when this picture is taken on the long-distance environment. The model seems quite small, so do the error.

Also taking serious account is the environment. Actually, I should put the reflection on myself (most left) at the water dispenser body.

Extra work if the model seems 'touching' with the others. Have to be carefully 'magic wand' it and then 'cut' it out!

This is my first experiment actually on camera techniques. I'm using a cheap digital camera actually through the whole process. The best way on doing this is either using the stand or the more expensive camera like the DSLR model... So then, this is only a small update!

And my journey is still far away~

Wasan Vocational School Open Day 2010 Day 2

The 2nd day of the Wasan Vocational School, its kinda more 'happening' than the previous day...

And gotta see a chance the Food Processing making their product.

Busy on preparing the drinks to be sell.

Cooking freshly frozen food such as the fish nugget, burger and chips.

Izz and Alif dedicated on their work.

And ther is improvement to our tractor ride due to the first day complains that we received from our customer.

Now we put the umbrella on the passenger space to protect them from the hot weather.

And made a seat inside the passenger place to provide comfort rather than have to seat on the thin edge.

What on in the Fisheries Studies Department on the 2nd day?

So, whats for lunch in the dining?

Meat in ketchup sauce.

The 2nd day don't have many things to be reported although there is several improvement. However, we are a bit busy and on the next day, the SVW FC have to face the MD All-Star FC in the revenge match... So then, have a good day and challobette!!!

Wasan Vocational School Open Day 2010 Day 1

On the 17th of February 2010, Wasan Vocational School have held its own open day for public for straight 2 days. Its a huge day for the school on attracting the public to take the available courses; National Diploma on Agriculture Science, Biotechnology and Fisheries, also National Trade Certificate 3 on Crops, Food Processing and Fish Husbandary.

Everyone in every courses have been divided to different work. At first I was assigned to the poultry area, however I change my job to these, tractor ride! Not really active~

So, what my courses offer to the public?

We sells our rice which we plant by ourselves.

Theres also a showcase of different varieties of rice.

Posters on different type of agricultural machinery.

Several leaflets on the Agricultural Science program.

My course new signboard. The old one is too plain.

How about on the Food Processing ground?

They selling drinks! Flavored drinks.

Ikan masin?

Local crackers.

Frozen food like fish nugget and chicken boxing.

Fared of Food Processing servicing his customer with these cold drinks; yam, rose syrup, banana, melon and corn. I choose corn.

I'm buying these fish nuggets and chips. Its quite delicious especially when I skip my breakfast that day and I'm their first customer.

In the auditorium, the Biotechnology dominate the area.

They have mini-game. These are the peeps who in-charge on the game.

While I was wandering around in the auditorium, the 'tractor ride' got its first customer!

During the open day, the table for registration and submitting the registration form were also open.

Now at the Fisheries Studies Department, which is located deep inside, beside the school's paddy field.

They too have some presentation to the public.

And they have open their aquarium project for public viewing.

Even their wet lab, outside of the aquarium room.

The Fisheries also sells food to the visitor, like this freshly cook fish.

Local delicacies like curry puff and fried nuts.

Yeah, they don't sell it in the frozen stat, they fried it first.

At my group coordinator office, things are a bit 'unfamous' although its near to the Fisheries Studied Department.

Lunch time! The dorm once more opening its door to non-hostelite to enjoy the food provided. So, whats for lunch?

Another Milestone

Today is a best day for the SVW FC with a big win of 3-1 against MD FC. Although there is another goal from the MD FC, however it is invalid as the whistle have been blown out to mark the end of the game. Top scorer for today is Azeez with 2 goals and 1 goal from our Agriculture Science Department's lecturer, Cikgu Mus. The story will be covered after I blog about SVW open day. By then, congratulate guys!

Visit To BARC Week 1

Woah! A busy week! Open day on the 17 and the 18! And before that, on the 16th of February, we the junior of the Agricultural Science are undergoing the Hydroponics and Fertigation training in BARC, located in Mukim Sengkurong.

This is the place, not that building actually.

Inside, we have been given opportunities to inspect several types of seeds.

Also an opportunities to count them.

Several products of the BARC were also being shown to us.

Next stop; Hydroponic's house, located at the back.

He is our tour guide for this study trip.

On the way to the Hydroponic house, I manage to catch a fish! Dead actually, its smell is hell!

We have arrive at the Hydroponic workshop. Here, we will be feed with lots of important information about hydroponic.

Not only he tour the BARC for us, he also explain the whole things about hydroponic system.

At the outside of the building, we pay a visit to several hydroponic house.

After that, we going to this house, an 'apple' house. Actually, 'apple' is the codename of 'tomato' in BARC.

Here, we can pick the tomato and eat it raw. Its quite delicious especially the one which is too red in color.

Next week, we will going again to the BARC for the next level of hydroponic. In the meantime, my stomach growling due to I skip my dinner, time to cook! Bye!

Today is too hot! Thats not mean that I'm hot or the others is HOT (although I cross-over some hottie today...). Today is my school open day; Wasan Vocational School Open Day and today is the first day and tomorrow gonna be its last day. I will update you all with the stories maybe on the next Friday. But first, let me post something that is happening yesterday, not today, maybe this midnight (if there is no interruption on school connection on uploading the picture to Flickr).

Over past a month, we are feed in the Maths class with GRAPH! Too many graph have do be done and thank-God we are good on it.

Saw Dust, Rice Hull

The mastermind, Hidayah. Why I call her a mastermind? Because she is sitting at the front!

We are at the fueling station somewhere around the Kuala Lurah.

We need to refuel the tank full.

Because the journey to our destination is too far and too time-consuming and too sleepy.

This is the suspect of the last-night incident of ear-bombing in the dorm.

For our safety, we just tie his mouth to prevent the same incident happen again.

To ensure we survive in this long journey, several method have been used. First is by gazing to the outside world and second is by just sitting like on a couch.

Extending the survival capabilities by eating snacks and sweet food is also an excellent method.

However, you can fall asleep more easily.

On the 13th of February, with the assistant of our group coordinator and 2 technical assistant, we are going to the Lamunin area (2nd time for me, refer HERE) to get some saw dust and rice hull for the advantage of our bed (for plantation).

...planks that will be used to made all the furniture, walls or the cow hut!

This is our target, a mountain of saw-dust which is cost-free.

To ensure we will not wasting our time, the work are divided into a smaller more efficient part. Some may collect the saw dust.

Some are securing the opening of the sack by tying it up!

The rest is transferring the sacks into the lorry.

Don't use slipper if getting these things again. Look how many that stuck inside it.

The journey continue to another destination, previous place where I fetch the rice hull.

I come again to this place again, I thought I never meet this place again.

Before going back to school, pay a visit to a retail shop. Everyone buying themselves a drink, except me.

I'm treating myself an Ice-Cream (forget to turn on the flash) which later on being thrown (or puke) into the toilet bowl.

A long sleepy journey back to school. Its nearly lunch and my stomach already not in a good stat, should buy some cracker or bun.

On the 3rd of the February this year, there is a talk which was held in the dorm's mosque. It was confusing at first when seeing...

At the dinner time for the dorm which is at 6 PM, people is still playing football, netball and lepaking. After being explain by the cook what the hell is happening actually, I feel ashame. Yeah, dodging the dining at 6 PM from my afternoon nap.

Business School Open Day 2010

On the 3rd of February, my school have been invited by the Business School in the Gadong near to the DPMM College for their open day. The purpose of the open day is to introduce to the public what is going on in the school that teach only about business.

Greet with the banner infront of the entrance.

And the school representatives are distributing leaflet.

Business School, I believe most of them will sell something, or rent something in return for profit. And its true. They sell everything that they can do.

More food. Food is a 'mushroom' businesses.

We Need A Stable LOVE

Imagine if you are in the relationship and the relationship is shacking badly. During the times, the connection may distrupted and if it is not repair in the near future, things will out of hand and the connection will disconnected! That is happening actually in the dorm where I have live for half of year.

Don't misjudged, this is what I am talking about, although there is a 'real' connection problem in the dorm right now. Yeah sure the connection speed is high.

What do you want to explain about this? 2 weeks!

And the errors! Even when on uploading small files!

And the situation is worsening when there is too much laptop is being connected to the single router like above.

DEATH!

But, in our school there is several specialist that can fix this problem. However, for this round, the problem seems to be taking time and I'm afraid more people will suffer from breaking their heart (stress sal connection lambat~). However, when they are repairing the modem, there is one favourite site that will be open til the problem is fix. What is it?

Hut Need Repair...

Remember the last time I'm posting about the traditional hut for our course to cover themselves from the attack of the mother nature? (refer HERE) After a long time, the hut now in not a good shape, dirty and eye-irritating. But...

Thanks to them, the hut are back in shape!

They not only repair the hut, but also clean up the surrounding area.

They also beautify it by giving the hut a cool paint job.

The roof are fix so that the hut can cover more people from mother nature.

Izzat, taking Food Processing Course are helping my mate. Sorry for not coming earlier because I was sleeping in the dorm after a whole night repairing countless laptop.

Several addition have been made to the hut including this; a backrest.

And table so that we can put our things on it, rather than scattering it on the floor.

Nearly all the rock extracted from our land were put here. Macam kubur...

At first, the hut are in risk of being remove as instructed by our group-coordinator unless we 'beautify' it and suprisingly, more people want that hut to survive because there are lots of unforgotten memories inside and around the hut. So, thanks for reading the 3rd update for the day and I will update this blog again maybe tomorrow... (If i'm not sleeping as always...)

H1N1 Vaccination

On the 2nd February this year, our course are instructed to receive the anti-H1N1 vaccine injection. The composition of the injection itself is H1N1 but with some broad modification, it now become a vital healer to the mankind. However, after the injection, my prone to the cold and high-body temperature increases, thus making me sick and its already a week.

On my Facebook, theres always a special event for every matchday for the Manchester United Football Club. Same to with other English Premier Clubs. However, I am the loyal supported for the devil and thank God, in Brunei, they have the official supporter.

What happening today is the worst things that I fake off. Yeah, I blown my temper, unleash my fury and...

...now I'm really deep in 'piss-off!!!' and become a food hunter level 1.

When I come home after going through all the things that ruin my day, my father tell me (shout at me actually) to prepare a family gathering! Where?

Here, at Kota Batu. Mangrove Paradise Resort. Why there is mangrove in its name? Because, after we passing by their big sign...

There is a long bridge which connect to their restaurant which is located on a water. And near to this bridge is...

So, what is special for today?

Its special menu!

Argh! Zzzz...

Now the stomach of me and my siblings are in not in a good stats aka hungry, the only food services that we can hit instantly is a fast food! However, my family seldom picking up fast food restaurant due to its instance which I never understand. However, my brother pick this place:

Khaz Corner. For a decade, my family is their frequent customer. This is their branches in Rimba. The uniqueness of this place is that, its hold several unforgettable memories, especially to those who I love and now gone forever.

The family gathering that my father held was an opportunity for me, my brother and the rest of the family member too sit down around the table and enjoy the food, as usual as our family tradition. I'm always in the dorm, my brother is working and when night comes, its only a time for us to rest.

This is my tradition when I'm dining in. The ABC.

And the tradition dish; Spaghetti. When come to taste, their spaghetti is more delicious than the others.

If not spaghetti, I usually order this; Khaz Corner Special Chicken with Rice.

Banana Roll with Ice-cream. An addition due to this is 1st family gathering for the year 2010.

Cucur pisang, my favorite delicacy.

And this is the tradition of my family; satay!

So, the evening is great for us because we are so happy that everyone smiles. My anger fade instantly because of it and also the food that the taste never change since their first opening. So, guys, its already late and goodnight!

p.s.: one of the reason why I rarely going home is because of food~ eat and sleep routines!

Gold Post! Not Celebration!

5oth post! Where am I going to celebrate? Actually, I'm in unfortunate stat to celebrate it because I'm still in the dorm and have nowhere to go. But at the end, I celebrate it by myself, and give myself this:

New phone! Although its 2nd hand, however the previous owner is a lady and its still in a warranty. Got it for $250. Its investment worthwhile!

This week is the start of hardwork for me and my friend in our practical site. Its now a start for another new crops to be plant and its mean back to square one. But the first day is a bit wet, so what we do is just some maintenance and cutting the grass.

So, the next day, all the people who take Agricultural Science programs were feast with a day trip to Empire Hotel And Country Club. But, the only things that we are going there is just to attend a Think Big 2009/2010 Award. I though of zzz... at that time.

What life if there is no water. We cannot drink and wash anything. However, our country is modern and without water, we still can live it. On the 10th of January 2010, the dorm where I live suffer from water shortage. Thank God we have the tank.

Checking the tank for water. Eventually its FULL! But the pump is out!

Calling for help from the water supplies. But the line is engaged...

With the help of our warden, she managed to get help from the JKR and told us to prepared anything so that we can collect water. However, the hostelites only have small buckets. In order to make everyone have enough water...

Getting the huge water bucket from our practical site and put it infront of our dorm.

Thanks to our cooker, they treat us with bottles of water and ice-creams while waiting for the help to come.

Help has come, time to fill the buckets with water.

Rematch!

I, the proud student of Wasan Vocational Wasan, will now join forces on the 15th January 2010. What is happening at that day?

This is a rematch because of the defeat my school take last year. My school have the dignity! What is happening last year actually is a worthfull experience. The team gain their advantages and the disadvantages exposure because this is their first friendly match outside of the school.

They even bought new boots the night before match start.

They even fight in wet condition.

Those who comes and plays.

Having good meal after that.

Last 10 Days

Good morning mate! And its 3.22 am (as I type the time)... Its day 5 for the year 2010 already and school rushing back to my mind with haste. So, have you enjoy your last moment of 2009? So am I, I enjoy it to although I miss several important event.

One of the most (compulsory) event, few days before 2010: transplanting paddy! A good memory (pain) to be remember.

Here some story first, Dagang Family is a huge family related group which I also included too. Their main base is near the Asma Hotel around Jerudong village. Annually, a family day was held on every last night of the year. Several years ago, a family sport day was created and now also being held annually. So, this year family sport day, I miss it due to misinformation. So, I've just attend the Family Day event only.

Its been 2 years that this event have been held 'soft-core'. 2 years ago, due to one of my grandmother pass away a few days before the event. Last year, the day fall on the Thursday and Thursday night is a holy night for Muslim. Moreover, my beloved grandfather have passed away not long ago, so its better to slim-down the entertainment.

Annual entertainment which is must included in the Family Day is lucky draw and karaoke competition. After the sport day was created, now its include prize presentation as well as giving out school stationery to those who still study.

I repeat, this is not a human. Its a goat! Gosh, at first I hate goat meat and suprisingly, I'm the one who keep munching it for half an hour. This goat meat have been barbeque with honey and some salt (coz I can feel the salty taste).

However, for the last few years, I usually left the event early and went somewhere else (JP) due to the event is like for the 'old' people only. If you want to check the remaining picture, click HERE.

Hows your start your 2010? Have a new will to pursue your goal? For me, I'm still holding to my goal, to enjoy the life as full as I can. However, this year, I will like to make a memorable moment for myself! So, at the end of the year, you will know what I mean. And, theres still good event to be attend at the early year!

Happy birthday to my Aunt. She throw a party infront of her house and invite me, my family and relatives for her party. And she...

...rent a bouncer for the child (or not) to jump, slide, swim and climb. Its been common feature every time she held a birthday party.

Its very high (not actually) and it takes nearly 5 hours to just fill the pool (half of it). The slide is too steep and chances that you will fly out of the bouncer is high.

You loss your grip, you may fall. With this type of stair, it is hard to climb up. So, its lower down the fun.

Another way to climb up to the top is by using the slide itself. My brother showing it how to. But, from the previous bouncer I have play, this is the hardest one! Need more stamina than expected.

My cousins enjoying the pool. For some of them (which is still small), one day, they too will slide with us.

Its been an enjoyable and very fatigue day for me as I drag the fun into the late of the night. What I've got? Muscle ache, everywhere on my body and its only worsen my ribs pain. Hahaha! Nevermind~ 'setahun sekali ganya wah...' By then, have a nice day and its already morning! Bye...

On the 29th December last year, our proud school have held unofficial paddy transplantation carnival... Ok, thats a joke... Its only a project made by our seniors in their subject, 'Share Farming' which is paddy. And to the junior, we need to assist them.

Howdy guys, there will be no update for you all til next week because there is so much work which need to be finish by the end of this week. Why there is no update? Because, for the whole week, I will try to upload all the photos that I'll take on 29th December and on the 31st December to the Facebook, after it is being slim down (i.e. I take 300+ photos, only half of it will go to the upload) and edited.

I love cats. Its cute and innocent! *ok, sound like a girl posting something...* I'm not talking about the hell of the cat's specification, but I'm really piss-off if someone throw them away especially:

Its only under a month old like this! His brother have died from hunger, approximately 2 days before we found them at the garbage bin.

For 6 years, my family have adopt several dozens of cats from every place you can imagine. Supermarket, fish market and garbage bin are our top list of the cat whereabouts. We just pick the cat who are alone, in a very bad condition and still very young.

Thanks to her (on the left, also adopted), she have milk every cat that we pick, including the under a month age. She have a sister but then die due to unknown reason.

However, the cat that we pick also have to know that their are only a junior and on top of them is a senior watching them.

Their senior, already 6 years old but have a appearance like a 2 years old cat. The first cat that I have and the first cat that we pick from garbage bin which located at the back of supermarket near Jerudong. He have a brother but have leave my house 5 years ago and sister who have died 6 years ago due to unknown reason.

We feed all of them with fish and rice. From time to time, their source of nutrient, the cat snack are given. They too can protest about food sometimes, so when things get uncontrollable, we just fed them with cat's canned food.

Meal are given everyday; in the morning, on lunch and before night.

Its been year since I never talk about cat in the web. I only raise this issue if someone dump a cat. Tch~ What a cruel-stupid-coward act!

Wedding and Update!

Good morning peeps! Today is a bit out of wind because first, my Flickr account limitation and something I don't like is happening in the dorm. However, I will solve all the hell out! So, what will I do is, I will upgrade my Flickr account to PRO which will burn my pocket and then on the second problem, I've just have to get back home and will come back to dorm next year. So, those who have girlfriend, today you may receive something from them!

Typing about wedding, theres a lot of wedding in December and not all I can come. Even on the 13th December, I'm in no position to come to anyone wedding. 3 invitation and all of them need me. Where the hell!

Below is a picture that I have taken. Its not a new wedding, but actually the first one is 2 years ago and the 2nd one is last year.

My First Day Raya in RIPAS

Ok, its doeen't mean (the title) that I broke my leg and smile during the first day of the Eid infront of the nurse. This post a bit late, yeah... a 2 months late due to my grandfather have pass away and I wait for time to be calm first. So, as promises from the poll, here it is the story.

My father left me and my brothers and went earlier.

But then, we are the earliest. Where is he?

The 2nd! My cousin and her family.

There he is! My father come with my mother and my sister.

Now, waiting for the rest of my grandfather's son to come.

We also brings beverages and food. Wait, theres birthday cake! Let me check the date...

The 4th to arrive, my Aunt Rosni with her family.

5th, my Aunt Kelias.

Enjoying the beverage while still waiting for the 'prime' time.

6th, my Uncle Sukardi with his family.

7th, my Uncle Haji Momin with his family.

Already pack! I don't think anyone can enter this room anymore.

8th, Pamit. Come alone without her wife.

20% of the food that have been taken out, sure theres lot more!

I almost forgot, its 21st of September at that day and its my young brother birthday! Thats why there is cake...

Here it is the cake. The prize? A scholarship on getting a driving license.

Food, smile and happiness filling this room.

Although the event is held as simple as we can as the space that we have is limited, I really enjoy it because for the first time I takes a picture for this such event. Hahaha, well then, sorry if anyone from my family read this and resent it. For my grandfather who have left me to eternity, I always be by your side, praying for your safety along your new journey. I'm testing the fuctionalities of the Flickr Photo Upload. Moreover, I always in question, even I use HTML code to modify the size of my photo manually, but its still not sharply rendered like the one SKY do... am I losing something? Then I realised that the Flickr can make the picture huge! Although its only limit me to upload a total 100mbs of picture every months, still my picture never reach that many! hahaha!

Transplanting Paddy Story

Its been 2 weeks that I haven't update my blog due to there is nothing interesting to be post except that you want to see everyday picture of my growing ladyfinger, with my whole heart I will post it. So, yesterday, I was instructed to show my face at my school paddy plantation area, to transplant the national paddy varieties, Laila Paddy.

Holiday! Not in the December...

December come, and for the first time of my life during my school day that:

Holiday swarmed with dark cloud.

Which means that:

But, some of my friends have start planting paddy, but not at the above location...

Today, theres nothing to be done in the field except for pruning and weeding (where i pin down to bed til afternoon due to my cold). Remember the hut? Its now time to replace those old torn roof.

My Vision That Gifts Me

Starting from 6 am today, every hour after that, I wake up and then sleep again and dream a same things. My site. Its 3 times til I get fed up and then taking decision to walk to the site. There, I found out that:

There is lot of flower on the site!

Nearly all the OKRA that I grow produce flower.

When the sun start to descent, the flower close! Beautiful!

Theres more surprise when I go to the end of my bed!

Its also grow fruit!

Theres the second one!

And third one!

We have build a good hut last few weeks. But today:

There also drainage flowing through the hut, can be used to clean up our feet!

And these is our roof. Already thorn up due to rain and sun.

Trying to fix with the shade, in turn it damage the roof more!

Tomorrow, will be starting a very serious work, to repair my second bed which is like 'not-a-bed'... Maybe... Hahaha! Bye...

I woke up late... 20 minutes before departing from the school to AGRI-FOOD EXPO 2009 in Tungku, Gadong. So the stories come with pictures! Tonnes!
